Fight in the East Stand
|
Right near me in Block 233. Not sure what was going on, stand up row with a fella behind in, slaps first then punches. Stewards eventually came up and just held him there, another bloke came out of nowhere and chinned him too.
Fans around him were calling for him to be removed but stewards didn't act quickly enough.
After the game went out and saw them both nicked with paramedics there.
Must be something that started it all off, but embarrassed none the less if they were both West Ham.

Hasans - that another athletics rule. Once you leave the stadium after the event there is no re-entry.
Couple of my lot got caught at the Bournemouth game as well. Popped out after the game for a smoke and couldn't get back in.

I saw on kumb earlier that 'supporters' have got the hump that gates are being opened at half time so all and sundry can get in. If that's the case id like to know why after the Bournemouth game, I popped out to get a programme on champions place I wasn't allowed to get back to my lot who were getting the beers in. Apparently no reentry allowed. We only decided to have a beer at the ground after it was 'trumpeted' that the bars would be open after the game.

Truly embarrassing behaviour but lifetime bans will save us from being associated with such morons in future.
Seriously, what tragic individuals.

Yeh. They'd better sort out the away bit and the college stewards sooner rather than later. Or it's only gonna end one way. (With us all puffing out our arses chasing about on the roads back to Westfield!).

Exactly. It's like these soppy parents who refuse to swear infront of their kids. Yea, that's really gonna make a big difference.

Some of the stewards there are ex Boleyn.
At the Juve game I was talking to the one who used to be near me in the BML. I said I was surprised to see him and he said they had to ask them as they needed someone that understood the situation. So I suspect there is a mixture of young student oiks and experienced Boleyn stewards.

..........but it was okay for the club to not have an away section last night and let their fans and fans in other teams shirts sit all over the place. Then have unsuitable stewards and no police?

West Ham United condemn unreservedly the behaviour of individuals involved in incidents captured on video during the fixture against Astra Giurgiu. This behaviour has no place in football and we will work with the police and other stakeholders to identify the individuals involved. Once identified, they will be banned from attending any West Ham United fixture for life and we will request the courts serve a banning order to prevent these individuals attending any football. More than 200,000 supporters have already attended our opening at the London Stadium and the West Ham United fans have been magnificent during the first four games. With more than 10,000 Under-16 Season Ticket Holders, we are a family-friendly Club and our priority is maintaining an inclusive environment for all home and away supporters. We will not allow one isolated incident to damage our supporters’ and the Club's reputation, hence our zero tolerance approach to this matter.
